The best camera is the one you have with you - DJI Osmo Pocket
As the name suggests, pocket sized and easy to use. The Osmo pocket is fairly straightforward in use with only two buttons, the left allows you to start & stop recording, and the button on the right allows you to turn the Osmo Pocket on. The touch screen allows the control of different shooting modes like photo/video/resolution/frame-rates.
With built in features like time-lapse, motion lapse, and slow-motion the Osmo pocket offers great features you cannot match with your phone today. You can record 4k video up to 60 fps and can create HD time lapses just like to pros do with much more expensive equipment. You can argue that you’ll get better results with most camera’s out today, but the Osmo pocket makes up with less weight and a lot less equipment from your camera bag.
The built-in stabilization from the gimbal in the Osmo Pocket is ultimately what makes this gadget so appealing. I like the quality of the video footage that it can produce for its price range, but its hard to recommend this camera for anymore than shooting short clips. Its not rugged as an action camera and its not as expensive as a DSLR or Mirrorless Camera it fits in an odd category. If you’re looking to take better video than what your phone can produce, but are not looking to use it for anything action base the Osmo Pocket is a good idea for you.
